Bałtyk Tower is a unique building in the centre of Poznań. It is arranged over sixteen floors and 25.000m² of space.
One of the main aim which was really important for architects was to combine past with present. Name Bałtyk bring us back to the past because it reminds citizens of Poznań about old, cinema which they liked so much and which stood in that place before. Currently, this building has a different meaning, although further due to its unusual appearance is an attraction of the city, now also reflects the ambitions of the young generation.

What makes the building special is form which changes depending on the viewer’s perspective and glass façade illuminated from the inside. To achieve the illumination effect, the architects conceived a unified line of light fittings throughout the entire facility. LUG Light Factory developed a solution to fully implement this concept, making it possible to maintain a similar style and, additionally, meet the extremely diverse requirements of individual tenants.
Thanks to the application of a common lighting system, with the same colour temperature and light intensity, as well as an individually designed and adapted lamp arrangement. Customised installation solutions were also implemented in this project, which were developed by LUG Light Factory’s customisation department, composed of special trays adapted to the installation of luminaires selected for this facility.
