DELTA-SOFTFLEXX

Drains moisture away safely. May be used for horizontal damp-proofing in walls or as an L-/Z-barrier in façades.

Properties 

DELTA-SOFTFLEXX is bitumen-resistant. The sheet adapts perfectly to uneven surfaces, and thanks to its pliable, elastic EPDM material it is excellent for application around corners and edges. The material is very slip-resistant and thus ideal for masonry applications. It resists ageing and ozone, has a very long life, and is non-polluting. DELTA-SOFTFLEXX can be quickly and easily installed by no more than one man and does not need elaborate joining but may be easily and durably installed with DELTA-THAN cartridge adhesive. 

Application 

DELTA-SOFTFLEXX may be used as a horizontal barrier in single-leaf walls. In this case, the sheet is inserted directly in the mortar bed between the foundation and the first layer of bricks. When used as an L-shaped barrier in two-leaf masonry, DELTA-SOFTFLEXX is glued to the masonry with DELTA-THAN. In addition, it should be fastened mechanically with clout nails. Alternatively, it may be fastened to rising walls with DELTA MWSP-CLIP. When used as a Z-shaped barrier in two-leaf walls, a single layer of the sheet is installed with an outward-facing gradient in the bed joint of the shell masonry.  In window sills as well as in window and door lintels, the sheet is installed with an outward-facing gradient (horizontally in the outer shell).
