Protects masonry from rising damp. Particularly suitable for Z-shaped insulation layers. DIN-conformable, corresponds to IVK quality guidelines
Properties
Resists moisture and degradation permanently. Highly flexible
Application
Applicable everywhere in building foundations and walls. Solvent-weldable, so that Z-shaped barriers can be safely integrated in two-leaf constructions. Wherever driving rain needs to be caught in a wall facing (base, window lintel, window sill, etc.), the 'Z-ideal' DELTA-PVC damp-proof course may be used. The 'Z-Folie' DELTA-PVC damp-proof course is installed in a single layer. Contact surfaces should be levelled with mortar belonging to category 2 or 3 (DIN 1053 Part 1) in layers thick enough to form a surface that is as horizontal as possible and free from irregularities. The 'Z-Folie' DELTA-PVC damp-proof course should be pressed firmly into the mortar. Where two sheets meet, overlaps must be at least 20cm wide. Do not use any bitumen-based materials for further waterproofing.
