DELTA-ALPINA

Breathable all-round sheet or flat roof slopes and extreme safety.

Properties

Being coated on both faces, the breathable all-round sheet DELTA ALPINA may be welded by either hot-air or solvent welding. Being symmetrical in structure, it may be applied with either side up, besides offering lasting safety in the plane as well as in seams, butts, and overlaps of all kinds. Edges are additionally protected by special sealing lips along both sides. The sheet is easy and safe to lay; no trapezoid counterbattens are required. It fulfils the requirements applying to waterproof sarking sheets as outlined in the ZVDH code of practice and required by the strict standards of the Alpine countries of Switzerland and Austria (SIA 232/1:2011 and ÖNORM B 3661:2009/ÖNORM B 4119).

Application

The sheet may be applied to hard sheathing or a similarly compression-resistant surface. DELTA®-ALPINA should be laid out without wrinkles and fastened under longitudinal or lateral overlaps with staples or clout nails. Sheets may be welded homogenously either with DELTA®-QUELLSCHWEISSMITTEL or hot air. Welded seams should be at least 2 cm wide (ÖNORM B 4119: 4cm min.).
