BRAVOPRESS®. Range of press fittings in technopolymer.
Bravopress® is a press fittings system made of technopolymer (PPSU), a plastic material characterised by an exceptional mechanical and corrosion resistance.
Bravopress® can be used with Pexal® and Mixal® multilayer pipes and can be employed for the construction of water supply, heating and cooling and industrial systems.
As with the brass press fittings, the Bravopress® line was designed to reduce installation times by using a portable pressing machine equipped with specific pressing jaws.

PEXAL®, a system of excellence.
It is composed of multilayer pipes and different fitting types that are capable of meeting the requirements of diverse installation techiques and applications: from the distribution of hot and cold drinking water to centralized water supply systems, from radiator and fan heating systems to radiant floor, wall and ceiling heating and cooling systems, from compressed air systems to industrial plants.

MIXAL®, a universal system for the supply water.
Thanks to its extreme flexibility, it is the ideal product for the construction of radiant floor, wall and ceiling heating and cooling systems. Due to its excellent performance it is used for the distribution of hot and cold drinking water, in radiator and fan heating system and in industrial plants including systems for the distribution of compressed air.

 

SPECIFICATION

VALSIR BRAVOPRESS®. Range of press fittings in technopolymer.
Press fittings with a multipress profile (H, TH, U, C, B, F) made of PPSU (Polyphenylsulfone), provided with o-ring seals made of black NBR, CE marked and in compliance with EN 682, a seal that prevents contact between the aluminium in the pipe and the brass fitting, and a stainless steel AISI 304 sleeve with 4 holes to verify the complete insertion of the pipe, marked with the diameter of the fitting and the pressing profiles that can be used. Manufactured and certified by leading international bodies in compliance with EN ISO 21003, according to the classes of use 1, 2, 4 and 5 for the transport of fluids at a maximum pressure of 10 bar and peak temperatures of 95°C; the system is also certified for transporting drinking water. In the event of incomplete pressing, the fittings will leak during pressure testing of the system for identification of installation errors.
Male and female threads produced in compliance with ISO 10226.

PEXAL® and MIXAL®. Multilayer piping systems for water supply, heating, cooling and refrigerating systems.
Pexal® and Mixal® water supply systems suitable for the creation of networks for the distribution of hot and cold water, heating and cooling circuits, air-conditioning, compressed air supply systems, and industrial plants in general. Manufactured and certifed by leading international bodies in compliance with EN ISO 21003, according to the classes of use 1, 2, 4 and 5 for the transport of fuids at a maximum pressure of 10 bar and peak temperatures of 95°C; the system is also certifed for transporting drinking water. Both are composed of multilayer pipes with the inside layer in halogen free PE-Xb that is crosslinked using silanes and a middle layer in aluminium that is butt-welded lengthwise using the TIG welding technique certifed by IIS (Italian Welding Institute - Istituto italiano della Saldatura). The outside layer is made of halogen free PE-Xb for Pexal® and HDPE for Mixal® to increase the flexibility of the system. Thermal conductivity between 0.42 and 0.52 W/m•K; linear heat expansion coeffcient 0.026 mm/m•°C; in compliance with EN 13501-1, fire resistance class for Pexal® is Euroclass C-s2,d0 and for Mixal® is Euroclass B-s2. Available with a very fexible red and blue corrugated sheath providing an elevated crushing resistance (class 320 in compliance with EN 61386-22). Also available with a 6 and 10 mm insulating sheath in grey, blue and red made of closed cell HDPE and covered with a protective layer of LDPE. Insulation with a density of 33 kg/m3, thermal conductivity of 0.0397 W/m•K, Steam permeability less than 0.15 mg/Pa•s•m and Euroclass BL-s1,d0 fre performance class in compliance with EN 13501-1.
