KAN-therm Steel System


KAN-therm Steel System is a comprehensive, modern steel system consisting of precise tubes and connectors made of a high-quality carbon steel (coated with anticorrosive zinc outside). The range of diameters: 12 - 108 mm.


The system is designed for internal closed-pressure heating and cooling systems.


The assembly of a system bases on a fast and simple “Press“ technology, i.e. clamping connectors on a pipe. Connections are leak-tight due to a special sealing (O-ring) of a high temperature resistant rubber and a 3-point clamping system type “M“, which guarantees many years of a failure-free operation.


Advantages of KAN-therm Steel System:


  • fast and reliable assembly of the system without using any open fire,
  • wide range of pipe and connector diameters: 12 - 108 mm,
  • wide range of working temperatures: -20°C - +120°C,
  • resistance to high pressure – up to 16 bar,
  • low flow resistance in pipes and fittings,
  • possible connecting with KAN-therm plastic elements/systems,
  • low weight of pipes and fittings,
  • mechanical strength,
  • no fire hazard during assembly and operation (A - combustibility class),
  • very good look of the system,
  • function of signalisation of not ready-clamped connections.


Scope of application:


  • heating systems in a closed loop (do not use for domestic hot and cold water and circulation system),
  • ice water systems.


Closed heating systems (pressure systems). Application other than closed heating systems shall be consulted upon every time with  KAN.
Typical working parameters of a KAN-therm Push Steel system.
The max. working temperature (without any time limit) is 110°C and with Viton O-rings it can reach 180°C at a pressure not above 16 bar.
