Product description
POLYETHYLENE PIPES AND FITTINGS FOR GAS FUELS
TWINGAM PE100RC PIPES FOR GAS NETWORKS TWINGAM polyethylene layered pipes for the conveyance of gaseous fuels, for nominal diameters ranging from DN 25 to DN 630 mm, are manufactured as single layer and dual-layer pipes of dimension ratios SDR 11, SDR 17 and SDR 17.6. TWINGAM pipes are produced by co-extrusion. For their production, we use two types of polyethylene – PE100 grade polyethylene and polyethylene with increased resistance to crack propagation (PE100RC) – orange in colour, used for the surface (outside) layer. TWINGAM pipes are used for low and medium pressure gas networks (up to 0.5 MPa), laid in natural soil without the use of bedding and side-fi lling, and for renovation works using traditional or trenchless methods. TWINGAM polyethylene pipes can be made in three versions of their wall structure:
- single-layer made entirely of PE100RC polyethylene, for diameters ranging from DN 25 to 75 mm;
- dual-layer with the inner layer of PE100 polyethylene, and the outer layer of PE100RC polyethylene, for diameters ranging from DN 25 to 630 mm;
- dual-layer with the inner layer of PE100RC polyethylene and the outer layer also of PE100RC polyethylene, for diameters ranging from DN 25 to 630 mm.
