Ice rinks fencings

We offer the polyethylene fencings for recreation, professional and hockey ice rinks, and provide the comprehensive supplies for executing companies.

The fencings are manufactured from white UV-stabilized PE 300 polyethylene panels and yellow and blue PE 500 panels. The panels are fixed with special flat screws to the hot dip galvanized steel structure with closed profile. Additionally to the set we supply the columns, fixtures, gates, doors, advertisement mounting elements and transparent protection PC panels.

The panels are prepared for given dimensions, usually in 2,000 x 1,200 mm sheets. The panels thickness also depends of the Customer preferences. For recreation ice rinks it is usually equal to 8 mm while for the professional hockey ice rinks it may be equal to 10 or 12 mm.

We also offer the cast polycarbonate PC panels used, inter alia, as advertisement protection panels. They are characterized with high resistance to shocks, cracking and low temperatures.

FENCING FIXING METHOD

Artificial ice rinks fencings are mounted in a standard manner - they are fixed to the floor. It applies both to the traditional ice rinks, as to the synthetic ones, made from the special PE500 type high molecular density polyethylene panels.  The surface of artificial ice rink is made of specially processed synthetic panels with a thickness of about 20 mm.

Fencings mounting depends on the floor over which the fencing is mounted. In case of frozen ice rinks the special holders are usually used - so called "freezing feet" made of the thick steel sheet with a correspondent profile, screw connector and closed profile – the whole structure is zinc-coated, preferably with hot dip galvanizing method. Such a "foot" fixed below the ice, and even covered by the ice, ensures a strong support of the protective fencings.

On the synthetic ice rinks made of the panels the fixing of fencings is performed usually with application of additional rear column and large steel sheet foundation, fixed with the pins to the floor and inserted under the panels at the deepness of 20 - 30 cm.

However sometimes there may be no possibility of drilling into the floor for the reliable fencing fixing. For such situations we have developed a new type of fencings with specially matched rear support and application of load with a heavy concrete component.
