The offer of the German company H. SCHUBERT GmbH includes mainly decorative panels with industrial aesthetics such as: imi-beton , which is an imitation of concrete, imi-rust, which is a material with a rusty surface similar to corten, imi-old timber with a rustic wood effect or imitation metal (imi-metal) or asphalt (imi-asphalt). “imi” products are unique, i.e. each square metre is different and unrepeatable. They are available on various bases (MDF, HDF and HPL) and therefore in different thicknesses (20, 4 and 2 mm). Each “imi” product is available in several finishes and interesting colours. For example, imi-concrete offers several surfaces: smooth, shuttering board effect and vintage. For comparison, imi-rust is also available in several structures — smooth, deep and diamond-shaped. Among the new products, the imi-sandstone and imi-mosaic decors are worth mentioning. These are sandstone and mosaic tile imitations respectively.

One of the new developments from H. Schubert GmbH is the so-called imi-mata. The material is made from renewable raw materials, produced without chlorine or softeners and is therefore recyclable. Although the mat is not made of PVC or vinyl, it can be processed in the same way. All you need to process and install it is a wallpaper cutter (the mat is 3 mm thick), a guide rail and single-component glue. The chamfered all-round outer part of the mat forms a so-called V-groove at the joint between the boards. For an aesthetically pleasing finish and for decorative purposes, aluminium profiles can be used. “imi-mat” can also be used as a floor covering. The mat is available in selected colour variations typical of standard “imi” products.
